Is the Dothan Small Group a Church of the Highlands campus? No, Dothan Small Group is not a campus YET. We are a Church of the Highlands small group watch party that offers a warm and friendly environment. We provide small group and serve opportunities in the Dothan area.
Where does the Dothan Small Group meet? We meet at Troy University Dothan, 500 University Dr., Dothan, Al in the Sony Auditorium, located in Everett Hall.
What should I wear? Dress is casual. Come as you are.
How do I go through Growth Track? Growth Track is offered at the Troy Campus offices, 207 Love St., Troy, Al
Do I have to be a member of the Church of the Highlands to join small groups? You do not have to be a member of Church of the Highlands or our Dothan Small Group to be involved in small groups. We have several people that are members of other churches that participate. Check out our small group page for more info.
What about childcare? As a small group we don't offer childcare but children are always welcome. We also have a family room that will have the service streaming live for parents or grandparents to take their children if needed. It will also have a monitor with access to the Highlands Kids service.
Do you meet for First Wednesdays? Absolutely. We will meet in Classroom 138 right next to the Sony Auditorium at 6:00p.m. on the first Wednesday of every month.
How can I help financially? We do not accept tithes or offerings. Those are strictly handled through the Church of the Highlands. There is a place on their app for giving. If you would like to help with our expenses for rent, security, SERVE projects, etc. then we do have a box at the welcome table for contributions. Contributions to Dothan Small Group are not tax deductible.
